12 month Profit and loss? - 27-05-2006, 10:48 PM

I'm doing a business plan at the moment for a video games retail outlet.

One of the things I'm doing is a 12 month profit and loss projection sheet.

But I was wondering whats the easiest way to predict what sales I'm going to have (I've got a new row for each product type)?

Thanks

Joseph

If I have posted this in the wrong part of the forum, can a mod move it please?

Thank you

Anyone?

I guess "12 month Profit and loss" should really be "Cashflow Forecast"

Hi Joseph

This is one of those instances when Google is your friend. Try having a look here for some ideas.

Hi Joseph,

I know this posting is 3 months old now and you probably have your answers but anyway:

Are you buying an existing business or is it a new venture? How is it being funded, i.e. your own money, business loan etc?

I'm guessing you are in the UK therefore, if you go into LloydsTSB they will give you a new business statup pack which will will give you the spreadsheets you require, all you do is enter the figures. I found this quite useful for myself.

As it's free it's worth looking at. Just go into your local branch and ask for one or visit the LloydsTSB website (or your preferred banks website) and you should be able to get a phone number to call for advice

Hope this helps

Adam
