What is a basic business plan and why write one ?

Sometimes you only need a 5 page document that cover the basics of your business.

In any case, no business plan should be more than 20/25 pages.

Your basic business plan would cover the essentials:

- your competitive summary
- your products, services and pricing
- your target customers
- your USP
- finances

Competitive summary? It should read Executive summary.
