One page business plan book

Hi, I am new here. I stumbled across book of the title "The one page business plan" by Jim Horan. Have any of you read it or can comment on it? I want to apply for a loan and or VC. I also know that often one needs to make a solid impression in a very short amount of time which how I could see a one page business plan could come in very handy if its done correctly.

The other thing I am doing is trying to find a business partner. I am a technical person and starting a business to help small and medium size businesses with their I.T. security. Anyway, thats a different issue.
