I'd like to make a donation but don't know whether it will be covered by profit at the end of the year.

Any donation from profits can't be gift aided and I don't want to end up making a non-gift aided donation from money already subjected to Corp. tax.

Is there a way I can show my donation as coming from my retained profit from previous years and therefore gift aid the lot?

Thanks,
Spok

Pay yourself the money with the dividends then donate the money personally as non-gift aid, then claim any tax back by entering the value of the non-gift aid donation on your personal tax return.
