Abbreviated Balance Sheet
07-05-2006, 08:39 PM
  #1

I have a very small company (last financial year made a small loss).

I need to submit accounts to companies house and qualify for the abbreviated accounts i.e. balance sheet and am exempt from having to have them audited.

Do not want to put more money into business and as I am a management accountant you would think I could file them myself but am very rusty on small business and filing etc. Are there any examples of balance sheets for submitting and all the wording that goes with. Otherwise I will have to bite the bullet and pay an accountant.

TIA

Templates for limited company accounts can be found here (small co abbreviated accounts on the top right). Despite this I really would advise you to get them done professionally so that you can be sure they're done correctly.

Regards
