Adult Live Cam Website Business - Huge Potential

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and from the looks of things i'll be here for a while, seems like an excellent spot.

I am seeking an investor for a new live webcam chat site and webcam studios.

I require about 17,500 pounds ($30,000) to start this business.

The business is to initially include a fully-featured live cam site and also 2 small studios (housing a total of 15 computers) in eastern Europe.

This is a fast growing industry and the profit potential is massive.

I would love to hear any ideas that board members may have as regards where I should go to find funding.

Any other advice or comments would also be more than welcome.

Hi - How exactly is this deemed spam?

I'm here honestly seeking advice as to where I should go to seek financing for an adult website.

I don't intend to spam this site and I would in fact hope to be able to become an active member, perhaps even help some people along the way - especially in relation to website design type posts.

If you feel that this post is going to be deemed spam and deleted, then could you please tell me how I should edit it so that it won't get deleted.

I was really hoping that I might get some good advice on here, as I've come up against a brick wall so far in my search.

its the way you've come across. have you sought investment in other areas? banks? venture capitalists?
what makes your business unique? Anyone can purchase on Ebay and set up a site? Why would yours be special. You have to intro your business and make it sound genuine before asking for money that many people on here may not have.

I’ve emailed a few US venture capital firms, but have had no replies as of yet.

I haven’t approached anyone in the UK yet.

I’ve come on here looking for advice as to where I should go looking.

Yes anyone can purchase a “turn-key” live cam site (there are dozens of companies offering solutions from $4,000 - $25,000 or so), but there is a lot more involved than just buying the site.

I have spent months and months researching the business and making the necessary contacts around the globe.

I believe that I have created a business model than will succeed and would hope to see massive expansion of this business. The live cam business itself is still in its infancy and is growing rapidly. It is big big business (ifriends, one of the main players in the business is said to generate over $300 million a year).

There is nothing completely unique in what I will be doing – I will be operating along the same lines as most of the other live cam sites in operation today.

What makes things a little unique from a business point of view is the fact that I will be using the profits gained through using our competitors facilities to build up my own site – The models working in my studios will not only be working for my own site but will be available and working as models for several of the current major players.

Those major players already have vast amounts of traffic and customers – but they are always seeking new models. Indeed there is a lot of money to be made in just operating studios to work for the current big sites.

Thanks for your advice, I suppose the post does look a bit dodgy as I look back over it.

I am a little stuck for time today, but I will hopefully post a good (full) introduction to the entire business here tomorrow. I’ll try to answer your questions in a little more detail too!

Since posting here, I decided to go back to college as a mature student. The majority of my time over the past year has been dedicated to this.

The holidays are now approaching, so I am hoping to again try to enter the adult live cam business.

Perhaps there is someone out there who is interested in investing in this project.

Due to an expansion of the business plan (to include more money for marketing and banking costs), the amount now required is 25,000 pounds.

I agree there is huge potential in adult material online. As a host we host all manner of content, ranging from your average blog all the way up to incredibly successful adult orientated sites. I'll tell you what, I'm in the wrong industry, in terms of money making potential with very few assets, porn beats them all.

The trouble with porn is that it is so readily available on the net (the P2P networks are rife with it *apparently*) that how do you get people to actually PAY for it?
It's a good profit making market (and always has been) but it's got to be like trying to sell buckets of sand on a beach??????
