funding problems

hi i am looking to start a dvd rental and games trade/sales shop im bromyard herefordshire.i need £8000 to start up and have £4000 from the prince's trust but having a lot of problems getting the rest i have work for 4 months so far with business plan market resurch costings and so on but now hit a wall i dont seem to be getting over.i have bad credit and trying to do this so i can sort the bad credit out.

If you have "bad credit" it tends to put off the traditional lenders. The usual recommendations for comparatively small sums like this are family and credit cards.

but is that the same for credit cards having bad credit. and family is a no no lol

So you get £4k from the trust, what have you actually got? Nothing?

Also you are entering a very dangerous market matey. Give it a year and Films will be on demand through a variety of digital means. No long term business there for me.
