Good (Rate of Return) Investment Opportunity? (Loan Note?) -
29-03-2008, 06:29 PM
Hi there,
Thank you for reading this opening post for this thread. Within 6 to 8 weeks, I will be launching a new business venture within the IT E-Learning Industry. I am looking to have companies servicing students with their learning requirements within the 7 english speaking regions on day one: UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. My market is 3 types of Student: Casual/Home user or wanting to get into IT, Professional, Corporate (Company enrolls employees into courses) And in turn, allow them the freedom to Study at any duration: Self Study, Full-Time Study, Evening/Part-Time Study, Corporate (Dedicated Time within working hours) Now, I know you are short of time, so I will only give you the revenue/profit for year 1 and only for UK. It will be my goal to replicate the UK's growth, to that of the other regions. As each Region will have to be self sustaining. My projected turnover for year 1 (For Full-Time Study: Instructor Lead Training Only): If for some reason, I am only able to supply 1 course per month : - Year 1 - Revenue: £180,000 - Profit: £134,520 However, my business plan estimates that within 6 months, working towards 4 courses per month and by month 12, run 8 courses per month: - Year 1 - Revenue: £705,000 - Profit: £558,370 Note: These 2 projections are for 1 Microsoft Course. By year 12, I would expect to offer many more courses from other vendors and thus have much more revenue/profit. Note2: These numbers do not reflect the other 3 revenue streams. I hope these numbers are of interest to you. Regardless of either situation, I forcast that I would be able to give you an excellent rate of return in your investment. What I am looking for, is an Experienced Investor who can help me launch companies within each launch region and then when I expand, do the same into Europe. The amount of investment is £25,000. The type of investment, well, I am unclear at this time. What I dont want to do, is give a high percentage of my company. For example 20-40%. I would rather start small and once I have the profitability then invest in my own company. I would like to give a maximum of 10% to an investor. However, to have an agreement in place that once the transferal of funds equals £100,000. The investors stake goes down to 0%. If you are looking for a higher level of return/investment, then we can discuss this. I have deferred some services to launch later on and increased funding can faciliate the development process pre-launch. This isnt my first time starting my own business. However it is, when trying to seek an Investor for financing a project. About me: I have worked in the IT Industry for over 15 years now. As a testiment to my knowledge, I have spec'd out the website and learning management system completely (design, layout, code and database to be used), in addition which servers the systems will be deployed and where hosted. I will install and setup the webserver architecture, I will write all the courses and training material for the Instructors to teach and Students to interact with and so much more. I am a one man band who is an Entreprenur, business minded, highly technical and very focused. This project will success in all its goals. I have already located the company to do the hosting, the design and development of the website/lms and trainers across the globe. I only lack and financing and business know-how to setup an Internation Corporation. I hope to hear from you, so that we can discuss the business plan in detail and scope of the investment. If you wish to contact me, please do so at no1youknowz@gmail.com. I will then contact you, so we can discuss this briefly and setup a meeting. I am based in London. Thanks |

Over 100 views and no replies?
Even when I mistakenly put year 12. LOL, like that was correct. Seems my brain couldnt decide year 1 or month 12. Anyhow, some progress. I will be submit a loan application to One London for £7,500 on Monday. It usually takes 7-10 days to see if you will be put infront of the panel to decide if there is eligibility. So im crossing my fingers. Im sitting down with 3 software houses, they are all startups like myself. They are willing to receive a token or goodwill small payment to develop the website and other systems for me. The rest of the payment will be taken from a % of sales that I will have. Until the payment is paid in full. With some other networking, I've managed to get a good deal with Web Advertising. If it works out, I will save quite alot! There are other things in the pipeline as well. I've turned around the situation to wanting £25,000 to actually thinking, well if I had £0. How would I start this all from scratch and just an idea? I am still looking for Investment however, be it mentoring, networking or advice. You can reach me at the email in the previous post. I'll update this post when I launch and might even provide a story for how it all came about and how I got there. ![]() |
