Help needed with a bill -

I have today received a bill for a service (a very poor one) one that i recieved 13 months ago. I did complain about the service and received an apology. I honestly thought that I was not going to have to pay because of the poor service, and because I had not received a bill.
Can someone tell me how i stand if I refuse to pay the bill because of the two points? Many Thanks DaveTTT |

write to them reminding them of the background and the outcome as you saw it. Remind them that an invoice 13 months after the event and their silence is unacceptable.
Did you get any benefit from the service they provided or did it cost you money to put right. This might enable you to put a counter claim or agree a small percentage of their fee. I do not believe doing nothing is an option - they may go to court and you want to be close to any action. This is not a legal response just a progmatic one. |
