Help with new company - Software advice.

Hi Guys,

Hello to everyone here - I'm a noob so excuse me in advance - my questions are of a very general nature.

I'm getting involved with a local company who are growing rapidly - I have been asked to assist in setting up a new integrated Finance & Stock Control system that is easy to use & that has the ability for members of the sales team to access remotely from Laptops, stock levels etc.

The company is relatively new, with a turnover of about £500k, 7-8 people & growing fast. It's a standard buy & sell + profit business, with warehousing.

What software can help me with my solution - something off the shelf (Sage) or bespoke?

Both the financial & stock control functionality are as equally important.

I am from an I.T. background but know little about accounting systems - I have worked with stock control systems on a user basis only.
