I have confirmed signed orders but need funding

Hi there

I run a fashion distribution company for 2-half years and have hit a wall when coming to trying to fund my business as I am 26 and have no ltd savings to invest, the business is successful in the sense of orders coming in and attracting new business but I am finding it hard to gain access to funding my purchase orders from my suppliers as they require 50 % deposit and most of the orders are up to 15k and I look after 3 fashion labels. I currently have invoice financing set up which is handy but its only good when I have the goods with me after paying the 1st 50% deposit, has any one any good ideas, I have even come to the point of thinking of selling a % of a share in the company, hope someone can advise me

Can I ask: which labels do you deal with?

Are you having problems with clients not paying you ?

Are you able to change the payment terms (with some of your regular suppliers) ?

What is your stock turnover time (and how does this affect your cashflow)

Three questions to answer that should provide an insight into the problems you are facing.

we look after a bag brand called manhattan portage

i dont have problems with people paying us with stock turn over we purchase stock that is presold and theres a 8 week turnaround

and as for payment terms there all on 30days

its just lately our labels have grown so much that we have not the buying power, which is very annoying as the orders are pritty much all sold

the other thing is i and my business partner dont have good credit
anyone got any ideas

As I posted yesterday there are facilities available to provide funding for the purchase of stock and if you care to contact me I would be happy to discuss the workings of the facility and to put you in touch with the finance company.
