Make Money by helping me, a new approach - 18-07-2008, 01:56 PM

Hi guys, following on from my last post, which was not received at all well I thought I would try a new approach and explain my situation, what I need and what I can offer.

My problem is that I need a loan and can not get one at the moment through traditional methods. However I can afford to repay such a loan. I am NOT looking for a handout and I believe my situation presents opportunities for someone to make money from helping me. I need to raise at least £6000 in order to clear a backlog of rent and consolidate some debts I owe. The reason I owe this is due to illness. The reason it is urgent is that I am about to be homeless any day now unless I find it. It also means I can not continue on with my plans to go into business. So without it I become homeless. However if a solution can be found then I am saved and will go on to be a happy and successful person again. Certainly the latter is better news for the UK economy!

I have posted on here as the sort of people in here are in the best position to advise or possibly help me. I have some ideas how an arrangement could be reached which you could profit from.

1. Someone lend me the money directly with high interest. A private but legally binding agreement could be drawn up. So a private loan could be agreed of £6000, however £10,000 paid back making you a profit of £4000 for helping someone in need.
2. Someone take out a loan on my behalf; take a percentage of it for their troubles, again creating an agreement that is legally binding. An example of how this could work is say £7,500 was borrowed, you retained £1,500 as your profit for your troubles.

I am an honest and decent person and not a con man. I would honour every repayment. I need help; I don’t want something for nothing. I believe somebody here could profit from helping me. Please have a think about it guys and if anyone wants to help or has some useful advice please get in touch. However if you want to be nasty to me because in a bit of a pickle, please refrain from doing so. By the way I am a 27 year old male. Thanks to anyone who takes the time out their busy day to read this.

I'm sure you are honest and a conman but your argument it not that convincing. If you are unable to work through illness then how are you going to earn the money to pay back the loan? You ask for £6000 pounds to pay off your debts but this leaves nothing to invest in a business so again I wonder how you are going to earn the £10 000 to promise. In any case, a legally binding contract is worthless if you don't earn any money. It doesn't matter how watertight the contract, if you are broke and homeless I'm not going to get my money back.

You misunderstnad me. I WAS ill at the start of the year I am not I'll now. The money to start my busines is coming from the small firms loan guarentee via a bank and obviosly that money is just for the business I can not use it for myself. I DO have the money to afford this and will allways have. Again I will only be homeless if I dont get this sorted. if i get it sorted then eveythings right. I will have a home, a business and income. I am not after something for nothing. I dont care if I have to pay for the rest of my life just as long as I get out of this hole.

Hi, while I'm sceptical I also applaud your determination.

Can you tell us a little more about things - where you are, what the business is, what the illness was etc.?.... the kinds of things you'd expect someone to ask if they're going to hand over £6k of their dosh to you!

This was posted on another forum a couple of times and received loads of suggestions etc. You have to admire the Op's determination to get a loan from someone on an internet forum!
