Need a Credit Card for my Business

Hello

Does anyone have a recommendation for a credit card for my small consultancy business - it's a Ltd. Co. (U.K)

I've looked around and I'm depressed by the ones I've found all wanting fat fees one way or another.

Cheers

Tony

Is it definately a credit card you need or just a payment card that you can swipe when making purchases and use to make on line purchases? If you don't need credit you're better off not taking it as you can end up racking up unnecessary interest charges.

If you just need a payment card your bank should be able to provide you with one free of charge. If you definately need a credit card then as you probably know there are plenty of websites out there where you can compare rates and benefits.

Can't give you any personal recommendations I'm afraid as I make a point of not using credit.

Regards

Joy

Sounds like your talking about a company credit card, in which case your bank should be able to provide you with one.

MotleyFool.co.uk is a well-known resource for Credit Card and Banking info - although I never remember them having a section for businesses. I know American Express do a business card - see www.americanexpress.co.uk

Because as you get on in life and purchases get more significant -- like buying a car or a house -- potential lenders will look at your credit report to see if you're creditworthy. It's exceedingly important to establish good credit history early in your life.

Hi Tony,

One particular card i can recommend at the moment, (well its good for us) is the nectar american express business card. We got given a good limit to start. You get 1000 nectar points with your first purchase and you earn nectar points every time you use it. These can be spent at sainsburys and other places.

The interest rate is low as well although we pay ours off every month.

Hope this helps.
