New to the Forum - Simple business account needed

Hello,

I have had a dormant company for 5 years and I have now decided to use it as I have been making money since April 1st. However, the company has a CCJ against it for a late filing penalty and I (as sole director and shareholder) have an adverse credit rating. The upshot of this is that I can't seem to open a simple deposit account in the company name.

Currently, I am asking clients to make the cheques out in a friends name, but clearly this doesn't give me the credibility I need to develop the immediate business & future brand.

Does anyone know of any bank that offers a simple business account that accomodates a track record like mine?
