Hi,

I am thinking of offering finance to my customers. Sale price in rougly £1500-£5000.

I have never done this before and the company im trading under and the moment has only been incorporated 10 months.

Does anyone have any advice they can offer me?

Thanks.

I am sure there will be a finance expert along shortly i.e. Ian. However, I would mention that for businesses in the UK if you are offering finance to your customers you will need a credit licence. I think this still applies even if you use a Finance House to provide the credit, but I am not too sure

You would need to contact a Finance House that offers credit for your particular product/service. The FSA website or even the OFT website might be useful

Is it possible to tell us what you actually sell and also whether you are selling to businesses or consumers?

If you are selling tangible goods that have a useful life of more than three years and your customers are businesses then we can possibly help.

For some general info please click here.

Sorry but I was on vacation and missed this thead when I returned. There are finance companies that specialise in supplier support and I'm sure that inbakumar will point you in the right direction.
