small company needs help

hello i started a small ltd company a little while ago, its a bit of a every thing company from selling motor parts to driving lorrys for other companys. i do not take a wage as i work as well for another company which pays me so im trying to build my small company up so it can afford to take me on full time . my company is makeing about £500 to £600 a monthso this is just going in to the bank. when i started the company i used my own money to regerstar the company all so to buy a domain name which has email and i bought new road maps and a tom tom.i have recipts for all these can i know put the recipts in the company books and reclaim my money i spent? allso i use my own car and when i drive for other companys i have to get there can i claim the millage at say 30p a mile and charge my own company so i can get some of my cost back? allso will i be taxed on any of theses things i want to do?

The best thing to do would be to speak to your accountant - he/she will be able to advise you on the best way to go about it.

Go to your local library there are lots of books on this sort of thing. The Inland revenue are also worth looking at they produce amssess of guidance booklets. You could also go to your local business link - they should be able to help.
