We need a sponsor for our website

We launched a website several months ago which is proving to be very sucessful. We are getting a lot of visits from individuals and companies that buy and sell residential investment property - both in the Uk and abroad. We want to generate some income to get it out into the public eye either by newspaper advertising or pay-per-click.

We don't want to cover the site with banners but would welcome a sponsor. We thought about targeting a lender specialising in the property investment marketplace such as Bristol & West or a large new home builder that is geared to selling properties to investors.

Has anybody any idea's??

Would it be useful if there was a website where organisations looking for sponsorship could post their details? One which comes out top on Google for the word 'sponsorship' so that sponsors go straight to it? One that was founded nearly six years ago, so that it's well-known in the whole of the sponsorship industry? And one that's categorised into scetions and sub-sections so that it's easy to navigate? Err ... there is. Can't post the URL (forum rules) but it's called The UK Sponsorship Database.
