where do i go now - 26-01-2007, 03:29 PM

Having spent the last year working on the website,to ensure everything was just right and spending loads of cash and time.I find myself with less funds than i began with (expected) and only partial internet sales made via internet rankings.
Everthing is there from product detail to online payment gateway etc.etc.etc.
But how on earth do you let everybody know you are there short of spamming and telling every living sole you pass on the street(tricky one).
Im sure im not alone in tempting traffic to my site, any ideas?

Another method I know would be most effective is trade shows and events in my chosen venture (motorcycle clothing) of which there are quite a few up and down the country over the comming year, but as i have mentioned funds are now almost depleted to say the least.
What about finance i hear you say.great idea i would respond if not for my previous lapses of credit worthyness and ill be honest with a credit score like mine im lucky to get a library card let alone any real financial help with marketing my Business.

I am acually mulling over the idea of taking on a Business partner with a good head for whats what and an open cheque book.
Im sure there is a solid answer out there to bring a swift end to my problems in getting thefocus my Business rightly deserves

build links to your site.

pay for some SEO.

open a campaign with Google adwords.

pay for advertising on other sites.

try and get small write ups in motorcycle magazines, just your website name would do!
perhaps sponsor something or offer a prize to readers.

regards
James.
