Can your Internet site be found? will this help? - 14-06-2008, 11:07 PM

Hello all,
I have been submitting my websites and shops over the last 9 years or so with software called Addweb, I started with Ver 4 and run ver 8 pro over the last 14 months.
Apart from auto sending your pages to search engines, you can view as to where your site is listed on any engine egage 4 or 1177, and if it is not on page 1 you can get it up to page 1 within days with no tears.
For eg to find my shop web site, you do not now have to type the extra bits like the co.uk you can just type Alternative4u and you will see it mostly on page 1 of most search engines, if not up top it only drops to 6th or 7th place on page 1.
Good luck folks.
David

submitting to search engines is a waste of time. You are throwing money down the drain. If you can't rank #1 for your company name then there is something wrong. (unless your company name is 'cheap mortgagces' or 'sex toys' ). Oh hang on, i DO have a sex toy website first page on google

Google guidelines:

As OWG says, it's a complete waste of time.

In any case, there is little point in being #1 for 'Alternative4u' if nobody searches for this keyword.

Couldn't agree more, take a look at a blog post I just made, about the subject of being found in search engines, it's mostly pictures showing #1 -about#5 ranking across serveral search engines, for heaps of relevant searches... and I know they are relevant, cause I used the list of searches that found the site for at list 50 people as the list to do the searches on.

if you click on the pictures themselves to enlarge them, you will see what country search engines they represent.
