Does anyone here have creative business cards?

It is unusual unless you also promote offline for e-business, but I will still ask.

I have been pondering many ideas, and I'll share, as I am sure lots of people have had the same ideas, or similar, and maybe some of you have seen them or have one of your own already!

1. Scratch and sniff (remember those good old stickers when we were kids (us in our late 20s and early 30s anyways)
2. Pop-up or Folding
3. Logo shaped (card in the shape and colors of your logo on one side, with all the info on the back)
4. Holographic or reflective (the logo maybe)
5. 3D (send with a pair of 3D glasses with a note (to make your business come alive, make mine come alive with these!)
6. CD/DVD business card (seen these, they are actually called VSRs - Virtual Sales Reps, and are an interactive mini CD in a folded letter size sleeve)

Anyone else have some ideas? I am in logo design phase right now. For the first batch I will only be having 100, so this may make specialties more or less valid, and I may end up with the same old boring rectangular blah business card, but I have eyes for the future!

I know a real-estate agent, and they constantly have people bringing donuts, etc. in the morning and placing their business cards next to them.

The realtors seem to like business cards that are Logo shaped. The more colorful and memorable the better.

As far as ideas go... maybe put your logo on a napkin or put it on cookies and place it with your customers. You almost have to have a captive audience for something like that though...

I like the donuts idea! I might even try it myself. As for business card gimmicks, I personally think simplicity is best. Sticking to 2 or 3 colours on quality card can say a lot about your business IMHO.

Where I'm from there's a lot of local competition for biz cards etc, but most seem unprofessional due to the rainbow colours and ink-heavy designs they employ.

Ah, but humour and originality are the key to being remembered, especially as a first impression.

You don't want to come across as a clown, but laughter is also a sign of approval, a proven fact, and followed by some of the greatest salesman.

Just for the heck of it, here's my window washing card (# is fuzzied out):

Kind of clowny... but at least it catches the eye. Not a scratch and sniff yet though!
