How to co-browse a website with my friend? What do you recommend? - 01-07-2008, 07:13 AM

Is there a special add-on or an application, possibly web based, that I could use to co-browse websites with my friend? So that I could see the contents of my friends screen, when he's surfing the web.

That sounds a horrible idea. Where does it stop? Bosses co-browsing their employees screens, jealous boyfriends co-browsing their girl friends screens or worst of the lot the Government co-browsing everyone's screens

I do this all the time - with my children (aged 12 and 9)

I let them have free use of the net (with some restrictions) but I can see what they are doing at anytime, you just need a VNC server running on the "watched" machine and a VNC viewer on the "watching" machine... You can even take over the mouse and keyboard which is very handy when you have kids! (Constant screams of "DAD - I CAN'T DO xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx")

VNC is the best option
