How do I find out?

Some years ago I was a co-director of a business which failed because of cash-flow problems. I spoke to one of the company's former suppliers and what he told me has led me to think that two of my co-directors probably stole money from the company which would explain why the business failed in the way that it did.

To prove or disprove my suspicions, I need some of the company information which those directors filed with the authorities. The company is now dissolved. Do I still have a right to this information and if so how do I go about getting it?
