need help to make the right website - 27-12-2005, 06:41 AM

Hi all,

I would like to get my own website but I have no idea about how to creat it, so I am thinking to buy an existing one that can run almost immediately. I have before a free website but I need a more professional one now.

Does anyone could help me to give the right advise on where to go at low price. I make some research on google and found many offers but I am still confused on web hosting, attracting people on my web, design, etc.

Well any help will be great

To be honest, not to downgrade any of the professionals on the forum, I'm sure you all do very good work, but the best thing to do is to build the site yourself. Think of it this way, if someone else builds your site, that means every time you want to change something, its going to cost you money, because you have to pay that person to update whatever it is you want to change. You're much better off biting the bullet, buying dreamweaver, and learning the ins and outs of basic web design. It's much less complicated than most people think and in the long run it will save you money and make your business more independent. You also have this forum for example, to use as a place to ask questions if you get stuck along the way.

Just my 2 cents.

Thank Jetway for your advice, I am totally agree with you that it’s better to handle every thing yourself at no cost but some time when you have to learn something it takes time and time is also money as you know, that’s why I asked for help.
For sure the ideal product for me will be to fine some one starting is website business and could handle it for free to get website reference for his clients in exchange I will insert a link for them on my web.

I’m living in China and it’s almost impossible to find an English version of dreamweaver so I will try to download from the Internet at least to have a look on it. I also looked at the price and found it quite expensive almost over than what people offer you for a complete website.

I appreciated your comments thank you again
