New Anti Virus Threat, Warning! - 06-08-2006, 11:53 AM

I have received a warning from an honeest member of our sites:
Please be careful.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG ALL YOUR CONTACTS:

Be alert during the next few days: Don't open any message with an
attached file called "Invitation", regardless of who sent it. It's a virus
that opens an Olympic Torch that "burns" the whole hard disk of your
computer. This virus will come from someone who has your e-mail address;
that's why you should send this e-mail to all your contacts. It's
better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus.

DON'T open it and shut down your computer immediately... This is the
worst virus announced by CNN, it's been classified by Microsoft as the
most destructive virus ever. The virus was discovered by McAfee
yesterday, and there's no repair yet for this particular virus. It simply
destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disk, where vital information is kept.

Also:- Emails with pictures of Osama Bin-Laden hanged are being sent
and the moment you open these emails your computer will crash and you
will not be able to fix it! This e-mail is being distributed through
countries around the globe, but mainly in the USand Israel. Don't be
inconsiderate; send this warning to whomever you know. If you get an email
along the lines of "Osama Bin Laden Captured" or "Osama Hanged" don't
open the attachment.

Thanks for reading this warning.

It's a hoax m8.

Just type "invitation virus" into google.

The vast majority of these virus warnings that float around the net are hoaxes. A quick check using google will give you an answer.

This is a dead give away - whenever an email says that it's 99% a hoax but as hoofy says a quick check on Google normally confirms it.

I have some advice for people who open attachments in the first place,

there is a scam going around at the moment and you need to be very careful

A guy comes to the door and asks you to show him your bum,

dont do it,

he is just trying to scam you.

He has an ID card but dont be fooled. I feel so cheap after he scammed me.
