Quick update - got the job!! - not that job, but and apprentice electrician!! Magic.

Problem now is, after handing my notice in, they want me to work my 4 weeks 9and I get paid monthly).

Any advice on how I can negotiate a 2 week notice?

As for negotiating 2 weeks - either a) ask, or b) if you have any holiday due, can you get that knocked off the 4 weeks ?
