self employment -

hi all i am self employed and have been working for a builder 18 mths. i work 8-4-30 every day monday -friday.sometimes work 20 weeks without a holiday. AM I ENTITLED TO HOLIDAY PAY ??

Highly unlikely as you're self-employed.

IR35 guidelines set out what is and isn't acceptable with regard self employment. If you have worked solely for this company on a regular basis, they they can't laim you are self employed.

dont you sign some sort of contract with these people before you take on work for them to say when you will and will not work?

Just take a holiday - give your client fair notice and get on with it. As you are self employed - be self employed.
