SnipeStation.com - Free eBay Auction Sniper launched today! - 15-05-2005, 02:03 AM

[url]www.SnipeStation.com[url], the Internets first Free eBay Auction Sniper has just launched.

[url]www.SnipeStation.com[url] automatically places your eBay bid for you, seconds before the end of the auction dramatically increasing your chances of winning an auction whilst eliminating the chance of being outbid!

You will never miss a bid on an eBay auction again!

Below are some of the features that can be found on [url]www.SnipeStation.com:[url]

1. Totally FREE Service
SnipeStation is a completely free service; we do not and never will charge for the use our service. SnipeStation earns revenue solely from sponsors.

2. Free Advertising on our Front Page
Our ‘AD TIME’ feature allows you to advertise your eBay items or your own website on the SnipeStation front page! Basically the more referrals you make the more exposure your adverts receive.

3. Unlimited Sniping
There is no limit to the number of snipes you can create in your account.

4. Snipe Groups
SnipeStation's ‘Snipe Groups’ feature allows you to bid on various, similar auctions that you wish to win. As soon as you win one auction at the price you want, the rest of your bids will automatically be cancelled.

5. Multi Snipe
SnipeStation’s ‘Multi Snipe’ feature allows you to submit a multiple number of snipes at the click of a button rather than submitting them all separately.

6.Import Snipes
SnipeStation allows you to import all of your current ‘eBay watching’ items to your account ready for sniping.

We welcome any negative comments that you may have about the site and of course welcome positive ones too! Our aim is for [url]www.SnipeStation.com[url] to become the most used eBay sniper on the Internet and to do that we need as much feedback as possible on the site sooner, rather than later in order to achieve this.

Welcome to SnipeStation, happy sniping!

Sounds like a great idea and something that I would use, but with all due respect I am a bit concerned that a new company I have never heard of is asking for my ebay user id and password, how can you assure us that this is not a scam.
If you can overcome that then I'm sure you will have a winning product.

Hi,

That is a very fair point you have raised, I too would be very sceptical about giving personal details away to a company I have never heard of. If any of you are sceptical I would suggest waiting a few weeks before signing up and instead waiting for the word about the site to spread. Once you have heard good things about the site from people who have used it I am sure you will be far less sceptical. We also hav a forum that will be going on the site, be sure to check this out or even better ask current members how they are finding the service, this should ease your worries.

I'm surprised you don't think Ebay will block you out of the site once they get wind of it?

Seems to take away the true essence of what an auction is about, and I could see many true Ebayers getting annoyed about an artificial bid process?

Sorry if that sounds negative, but I like the excitement of being awake in the early hours to make a late bid on the hope I will win. What's the point of even playing if a server is going to always gazump me faster than a human could respond? Good luck if you want to make it into a business, but if it takes off I'll not be using Ebay as the fun will have gone. Will I be the only one, and will Ebay mind?

These programmes have been around and in common use on Ebay for ages. Snipestation is merely the latest one.

Yes - and as far as I know they are against eBay's T&C's so anyone getting caught using it would be banned
