Generic sites like these are great if you are getting going and I hope it works out for you. To answer your question

1. articles - send articles out via article directories focusing on different areas of your site - health and beauty, home and garden, gifts and gadets etc and link back to that page. Just make the article informative! Special events work well too... Fathers Day is coming up so make the most of it.

2. blogs - i love them and recommend them to EVERYONE. Start your own blog and again write blog posts that point back to different areas of your site.

3. podcasts - if you want to really reach out set up audios that focus on these areas. invite experts on that cover the different areas e.g. health and beauty expert, home and garden etc and let them talk about themselves (most experts love that) and then add it as an audio with your website mentioned of course :-)

This will make you stand out from the crowd of those other thousands of people. On your blog you can review products/ sell other affilate products so it opens things up for you a little.

I am glad to say since putting up my first post yes the business is working out very well.

People are becoming more aware of the new shopping revolution taking place in the UK and my Ei42 Shopping Centre is growing both in members and with over 1400 Shops and millions of products.
