Thumbs up Global website idea - 02-10-2005, 11:42 AM

Hi guys, anybody interested? as well as my clothing business and a couple of other ideas such as a few inventions and the like i have an idea for a dynamic website incorporatin chat, web cams, forums etc which when complete will be a global ste probably much bigger than friends reunited. The problem being is that this idea is going to be very expensive, what i am thinking though is that if i bring the idea to the party would anybody out there concider building the website for a percentage stake in the business. i have had a couple of basic quotes on a rough idea and the figure i got back was in the region of £40,000, i think as it evolves it will cost more, so as you can see this is not for the faint hearted but a guranteed winner. It will also need to be written in different languages. Any ideas or takers PLEASE if you are serious everything needs to be disscussed in the strictest of confidence. THANKS.

Hi Fackerd,

Our organisation has a habit of implementing things that other firms think to be terribly expensive, for considerably less than the market rate. We have experience of Java based web development which is the high end corporate stuff (meaning it'll handle streaming media / data driven / chat clients seamlessly). We have also handled internationalisation on websites before.

Suggest you contact us at sales@enigmaconnections.com. We can discuss your idea in complete confidence, then hopefully give you a more realistic quote.

I would certainly be interested in producing a project for a stake in a company. Provided I was happy with the idea.

But I do agree with Enigma121, often such software can be created for far less.

The Mach Three plan that we offer comes with 2 gigs of space, but I'll give you the extra 500 megs to cover everything you need. You'll also get a free domain and 2 months free when you sign up. Use the coupon code TENERIC when you sign up if you're interested

Hi Fackerd,

Yeah, certainly, 44,000 is just way too much I think for whatever you would like to create.

It's absoltey true, that it could be done almost for nothing using all those yahhoo or somthing like that services to create all the functions you need for your global website. However, if you need some special custom made details and some special features on your website, you would need to use the developer guys to tune-up all the stuff you are about to incorporate.

Just to let you know the differences between the prices, I can tell you that our tech guys in Ukraine (outsourcing for you), could develop totaly custom made software or anything like that, website driven, for 20,000 dollars. If you are willing to pay that amount, my tech guys will create the beauty for you that will drive yu crazy in terms of the quality or the features incorporated into your website.

Sure, the outsourcing is a good way to go if you need custom created software. If you think you can be ok with all the standard fetures offered by major internet proiders or website hosting services, go with it. On the other hand, if you think you need some stuff custom oriented, we woul be glad to discuss the details of outsourcing the project for you so you don't have to pay that much.

My contact e-mail is yaltmax@yahoo.com

Best of luck to you,
Max.
