The company I work for competes directly with huge behemoths like Microsoft and Oracle. This being the case, it is very difficult for us to get our name out there. In 2006 we contacted the brilliant guys over at Barats & Bereta Productions[/url] to see if they'd be interested in helping us generate some brand name recognition. The result was the phenomenon known as Cubicle Wars 2006 (look it up on YouTube). All we asked was that our company name be mentioned once and left the rest of the video to their creativity. It was a big risk, but with close to 2.5 million views on YouTube we think it paid off. Sure, it's probably not the most relevant add and we didn't see a massive increase in sales, but it definitely helped spread the Windward name and we made people laugh in the process. We're also happy to announce that Cubicle Wars 2010 is in the works. Stay tuned...
