Google Adwords affiliate changes - 07-01-2005, 10:06 AM

Google has announced for adwords advertisers that only one ad per destination URL can be shown

Previously, affiliates could post ads to a site so you could have seen 6-8 ads for one site under adwords - all from affiliates

From a user point of view I like this - from a competitive point of view I like this

If I was an affiliate I would be in dispair

Ads in the Adwords network are being monitored. Try to enter a misleading ad and check in how much time you will get a mail from Adwords team about improper ad.

Haven't checked adwords for over a year now because the suggested daily money I had to spend to make my campaign a success, exceeded $3000! Also $5 a click sounds way too much for me.

I think they may be trying to tackle the problem I had (and many others) and try to offer a cheaper bidding for top placement.
