Subscribe to the SEO/marketing/blog newsletters. Investigate niche markets, look at what your competitirs are doing. Produce a unique and interesting site that people will want to visit. And then do some more research.

It is not easy. There are no simple solutions. And the simple things you can do are simple for everybody else so their value is worthless.

The best way to become popular is to be popular. YouTube and MySapce are popular because they have filled a niche. If your blog looks like eveybody elses then don't expect to become popular. And if it only a vehicle to earn you money from google ads then your chances of survival are almost zero.

Yes! i agreed that a lot of research have to be done abd a lot amount of effort and time is also needed.

But beside using investing your time on gathering information.

I think huge amount of effort is also need to work out your stategies and plan on how to make your internet marketing journey a successful one.

Perry Marshall prefer using Google Adword to test which keywords is more suitable and more in demands than the rest. From there, he will then go into SEO. But quite a lot of people will go into SEO first then into Google Adword.

There are many gurus around where they claimed that they can help you to make decent amount of money online if you subscribe to their products.

I am sure a lot of people will buy a so-called get rich product, paid for it then go out to the internet to carry on sourcing another products without having starting to use the products.

So I strongly believe that you need to plan your stategies well, know what you want and work your plan.

I have spent the best part of 2 years learning SEO. Every forum, every SEO blog can tell you things but sometimes you get told so many things that your head spins!

For me, the light finally dawned when I wrote a list of the 5 essential things that my sites required. I then systematically went through each one until I achieved that objective.

Now on first page on Google for all my keywords.

So, how to focus? Clear your mind and concentrate on just a few esssentials first and leave the wish list for a later date once you have achieved the basics.
