Ideas to Market my site?

Hello everyone

I have launched a new website but unfortunately it isnt doing very well
Lickily i built the website so not much money lost

I am having difficulty finding advertisers, i have run a campaign to get free advertisers and there was very little interest now i have started a life time advert and still not interest.

I am the cheaper than all my competitors by a long margin so i am confused

I have marketed the sites in forums, i write articles and submit them to ezine i have bought traffic with no results and i have emailed about 600 campsites and not one wanted to advertise for free!! (maybe its my email i dont know)

Please can someone give me some tips on how to promote a caravan site website or any general ideas on how to promote?

In any case, what incentives do you offer to advertise? How can you assure the advertisers that they will get a decent return on their investment?

My main incentive is that i am cheaper and i mean much cheaper that all of my competitors and my advertising package is great infact better than some who charge a large amount. My down side is i dont have as much unique visitors as my other competitors this is why i need some ideas to marekt my site.

firstly you need to get a good idea that your site appeals to the market. Can you get stats on visitors, length of stay etc. Next you need to conduct an online marketing campaign to draw traffic to your website.

Have you tried google adwords to gain a bit of instant presence?

I own my own website and have built it so it is found at the top of search engines. I used SiteSell.com, E-business Success. Simple. Real. to build and help promote my site.

They have help in many areas that could help you. I had over 100 visitors a day within 3 months.

Also on your home page you have how many people are viewing your website. This is good if you have lots of traffic but does not look good when it says zero most of the time.

Working on press releases and articles can majorly increase traffic to your site. There are a number of websites who can write these for you, or alternitively write your own and upload them onto PR and article websites. Just make sure that they are relevant to your website and have 4 links max (for a PR) and one link (for an article).

I just looked at your caravan site and it does looks ok however you definitley need SEO. For one your meta tags are not unique. You also need some more back links to your site. At the moment you only have one.

Writing articles is a good form of promotion but try some automatic sumission software so when you post an article it reachs 600 article sites, with a possible 600 links back to you site.

Also get a form on each page of the site and where is your phone number? that should also be on every page.

Once you have done these things and with more active promotion you shouldn't have any trouble getting on the first page of google, under the search term 'caravan sites'.

Know matter how affordable and cheap your products are, if you don't seem to reach out to your target market - all your efforts would just be futile

SEO and promoting your site in other ways would be your next best option. Make sure first that you site's onpage factors are atuned to your ofpage optimization.

hey, nice site! I would strongly recommend Adwords, Article Marketing and especially those Social Networking (think facebook etc) sites should be a good place to start..
