Here's something I picked up from another website.

Why not submit an article to be posted online in an area you are an expert in ?

All of these will have links to your website so you'll improve your link popularity as well.

Here's some links:

This is without a doubt one of the most important posts you'll ever read!

As I (and others) have said before, Google will rank your site based on the number of sites that link to you, and their relative popularity. So if an already popular site links to you, you will also be ranked highly.

I'm going to post some of the free factsheets from my website on these - thanks for this. I may also include this in the second edition of my book!!!

Thanks for this valuable advice.

I've drafted a few articles in recent months for hard copy print eg Chamber of Commerce and newspaper publications etc. All a big drain on time on time for a "one off appearance" and minimal response

You've shown me a way to drive more value out of writing and a new way of promoting the business and getting noticed.

I'll feed back on my experiences in due course

best

We're still going - and it takes time

I received an email yesterday for an article I submitted 2 months ago that has now gone live.

But - I've had others ask to publish articles they have seen elsewhere - so it works both ways
