Im a web designer / developer based in California and I've been trying to create partnerships with business owners who would like to earn off my services. I recently did a website for a UK-based company and they are willing to subcontract my services to offer to their clients. I want to give the best price for my partners because I'm after a long term partnership.

So I would like to ask for the current market rates for the following (if you could, please convert rates to $):

1. 5 page pure HTML website

2. Complete website (unlimited pages, message board, blog, webhosting, domain)

3. Online store

4. Dating website

5. Auction website

6. Real estate listing (with paid membership)

7. 5-page Flash website

8. Full flash website

9. CMS for mambo and joomla

10. Logo design and development

11. Banner design and development

12. Brochure design layout

13. Custom Blog Design on Wordpress with RSS, multiple plugins, etc

Firstly, all the very best with your venture. We do the same things as you do, or are looking at doing, and it's a rough business.
There are way to many kids out there making a decent looking website for a few hundred $$ it will never do well in search engines, but still the owners won't find that out for a while.

Prices range from bottomfeeders prices right up to people that value their workmanship, If you do a world google search for

the #1 postion goes to a uk firm, that obviously value their workmanship. put there are over 1 million results so you should get a far idea.

You are more than welcome to have a look at our pricelist, we tend to change it depending on who the company is,(a big company, shouldn't have to pay the same as someone that is only looking to enploy themselves) how many products they want, and various other things we take into consideration, we often write to people enquiring about services, and ask them what their budget is, if they reply we often work out something that mighten be as much as they wanted, but would suit there needs, and is within their budget, or offer them easy payment plans, if their budget really is too low. I hope I don't get in strife for putting your pricelist url here, but I'm sure it will be removed if it's not allowed.

but a google search for

"website design price list"

only brings up 31 sites that compete under those terms, so a number one position for that search terms is hardly good workmanship. A .co.uk search brings up even less - 11 results.
