Hi,

We are busy with starting an online community which will be a website 100% dedicated to European Xbox Live and Playstation Network gamers. Because we feel that European (teambased) gamers desperately need a website where they can manage/read everything.

Do you have any suggestions how we can promote our site against low costs in order to get the maximum amount of member subscriptions?

I've got several ideas but I would be delighted to hear your opinions about it

Have you seen how many xbox and playstation websites there already are?

It's big business and not cheap. If you want to attract the number of members to make it viable you will need to spend ac considerable amount of money on the site and it's promotion.

The gaming inductry activley promotes it's products and you can be sure that they will have researched the european market. If there isn't a site that meets your partucular needs then it's quite likely that there isn't widespread support for such a project.

I wish you well but there is no low budget solution.

Yes I feel your right about that too, it is like our own line of shop on the internet, for every 1000 websites selling that item, only 1 buyer is on the internet ready to buy it.
Trying to sell a TV on the internet is like trying to sell a flu virus, it is too much of an over kill selling on the net, it will cost £1000s to advertise a new web shop today, where when we started our shop we were the very first to go on line selling our type of products, now over 3000 other shops are on line selling same items.

If you have a forum, you can get people in India to help build up the forum on a very low budget. I don't know what the quality would be, but I've seen them posting on various forums.
