advice on operating multiple stores

hello. I currently own a petstore and am considering opening a 2nd store but have reservations because I am not sure how I will be able to be at both locations. My customers expect to see me and I am afraid if I try to divide my time into 2 stores my current successful store may suffer. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
