Advice welcome ........ - 15-07-2008, 04:36 PM

Hi
My name is Simon, in the past 6 months I was approached by a hosted telecoms company to help increase their sales
Since then I have set up the following and I am looking for advice from people that have worked in telecoms, and also anybody who could resell for me and use this great service
I have been looking for a product to mould around a home workers network and feel with Cr2 I have come up with an ideal solution
Cr2 is a hosted call recording system with a number of add ons that I can sell , sms broadcasting 0800 numbers ext , the interface and the dialing platform work really well .We have spent the last 4 months putting a lot of logic into the product and we feel we have got it right , it’s a ideal way for a small to medium business to have call recording stored for up to 6 years as well as managing leads and data , feeding comments and training home or office bound workers all for the cost of a standard BT call
Working with the sales team in the past 4 weeks I have employed a recruitment consultant (commission only) and we have had 20 cvs of which 5 are starting in the next week, I have paid attention to working with this rich source of sales people to again mould a sector around them so they can hit the ground running. I am paying commissions only but on 2 tiers 25 pound of the sign up fee plus 5% off the on going minutes that the client uses
So many avenues are opening one off them being a ideal way to work with and manage my sales team, I can monitor their working hours train them online using the Cr2 interface and have all the data and clients recorded and stored, so offering this advice and service to people looking into putting their sales team to work at home is a hot market
At this stage I can’t see many pitfalls but they will always come along , any advice welcome

Why would I want to keep all my recorded messages for 6 years?

CR2 - what does that mean.

Are you voiceology.net or voice-ology.com?

Thanks for the Qustions

the client using the service Cr2 , has control of their storage time

you can store from 1 week to 6 years using a drop down box , so it covers us if they need longer storage , for some people to have all their client calls on record is handy take sales as a example if a new salesman takes over a accountt he can get famileir witha client by easily bring up that clients calls with out speaking to him

cr2 call recording 2

Call recording 2? What's the 2 for? Being a bit of a numpty here, has this got something to do with call centres recording my calls?

However I'm not so sure this is going to make much difference to most businesses. You aren't actually offering anything different than already exists.

To give an example, suppose you run an engineering company. A client rings up and want's a quote for a machine part. If you were to receive that call what would your company do? You couldn't give the quote so where's the advantage?

Hmm.

If it's just a hosted call recording system then it's not very wow. Do a google search and there are thousands of similar companies all doing the same thing.

So the sales team will just be cold calling. My wife is a company accountant in one of your target businesses, she gets an average of 8 calls each day (we checked) from telecom companies. If that's the norm then you have huge hill to climb especially since you don't have a USP.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice

we will keep on trucking as they say , in the 1st 3 months we already have 20 clients who are happy and that was with one sales agent working

like anything in you have to work hard and work with what you have to sell

and we have many other features that we can work with , sms broadcasting call ext routing , its not just the one service

thanks again simon j
