Hello to everyone on here

My name is Mark and I work for a UK Mortgage Lender. I am looking for a partner to help me set up a new mortgage and finance broker. I have over 15 years worth of industry contacts, plus numerous websites that I design and promote and a wealth of knowledge about mortgages.
Not the most exciting subject I know but it is very lucrative, and well worth getting involved.
As this industry is governed by huge amounts of legislation and compliance, knowledge would be useful but NOT essential, as I am open to ideas on how to develop the concept.
Lets have a chat.

Mark

Hi Ian,

Well, the problem is that I am still working for a UK Mortgage Lender and I would need to keep doing this for quite a while yet as I am still paying my wifes business debts. (she opened a childrens wear shop with a "friend" who left her in the lurch with over £15000 worth of out dated stock!)

So, I need to concentrate on my "day job" until the mortgage business takes off and remain in the background. I am looking for someone who can give mortgage advice, process the applications and really, provide full back office back up.

I have been in talks with two mortgage brokers for a while now but we cannot agree terms. I currently sell mortgage leads to various mortgage brokers and IFAs and get paid upon each mortgage completion. However, I would stop this and put these leads back into the business once it is up and running.

The vast majority of the business is non conforming or sub-prime as this is where the greater margins are and, I have a lot of experience in this sector. I'm in no hurry as I want to get it absolutely right this time (after a couple of false dawns) and make sure that the business becomes well established. Also want to develop into commercial loans and second charges.

It's interesting and I wish you luck. Unfortunately I can't help myself as all of my expertise is in commercial finance and I know nothing about mortgages
