Hello there (new UK joiner)

Hi, my name is Brian, I'm from the UK (Nottinghamshire). I'm in business & management consultancy, running my own company which works with business owners & managers helping them run and manage their operations more effectively.

My interest in joining the forum is to have a look at what business issues owners & managers say they face in running their businesses - I've traditionally worked for a small number of large long standing Clients, dealing with fairly well established operations. My largest, and very successful, Client was bought out by another firm for an impressive price. I'd like to take all the credit for their success, but I'm modest - shall we just say that only 99% of their success was down to me??!! The new company doesn't want to employ me, so I need to start pitching for new business again. To do that I want to have a look at some of the issues business owners & managers are concerned about at the moment.

I play golf (badly), bring up a child (averagely) and play badminton (keenly).

well, i don't mean there isn't any grateful people alive,
which there is people, who actually are gratefully of what others have help & assist them to their achievements.
nevertheless, success does reveals a person final character.

i perferable the much more aggresive sports, such as football, basketball, futsal.

Maybe in near future as i reach my late 30s, i would intend to start picking up golf.

Its really a nice game, but hard to master.
