I just dropped in to help

Hi, I'm Catherine - I just dropped in to help, advise, and exchange info a few days ago. I recently sold my fire and flood restoration business, which was a franchise. I also have a couple of small web based businesses, and I'm in the process of starting a new bricks and mortar business - a plumbing business called Kwik Fix, which launches in January.

I've made a lot of mistakes, so I would be happy to advice anyone who is starting a small business.

Thank you. I didn't see the introduction forum at first, then I wasn't sure about posting on it, as I thought I might get into trouble if someone saw my comments on franchising! But, people need to be warned about what they could be getting into - many people get burned by franchising, and a lot of the sites out there promote it heavily because they are making money from the advertising.

Great site by the way.
