Introducing Coxvos - 25-03-2006, 07:43 PM

Hi Everyone

My name is Lynn Cox and I am married with a three-year old son. We love taking holidays in our touring caravan all over the country but our favourite places are the Isle of Wight and North Yorkshire.

I have been running my Virtual Assistant business for about two and a half years and am looking forward to learning from you and sharing with you.

Regards

Lynn

A Virtual Assistant (or VA) is a professional service provider who specializes in providing remote administrative office support services as an independent contractor.

They work from their own office and use today's technology to deliver their services and communicate with clients.

I have more than 15 years experience as an administrator in various organisations and I specialise in formatting documents using some of the more advanced features or Word, in addition to a wide range of typical administrative and secretarial tasks.

Typical clients are SMEs who do not have the in-house skills to carry out these tasks and do not want to hire a full-time administrator or secretary.

Hope that helps - feel free to ask further questions.

That's exactly it - a secretary or PA who you call upon when you need them, rather than paying them to sit and wait for work.

Many SMEs cannot afford to have a full-time secretarty/PA so they outsource their admin/PA work, leaving them free to get on with the parts of their business that earn them money.
