Journalism. Oddly enough, writing sales copy that produces results breaks just about every grammer and punctuation rule I ever learned in university. To write effective sales copy, it's important to write in a conversational tone. Like this. As if you were talking directly to the person. And you use a lot of sentence framents as well. The copy flows better and it's effective because then you can make your sales message seem like a regular conversation instead of a sales pitch. There's also a carefully designed structure behind well-crafted sales copy as well.
