Hello all,

My name is Carl,

I am an aspiring entrepreneur,

I have many business ideas of which I am currently working on.
Here’s a heads up on one of many to give you a feel for my ambition.

I am new to this site; I am currently working on a business plan that fits quite nicely into the global gaming industry.

I am looking to take the line share of the UK's e gaming market, with a lucrative yet simplistic idea.
I have verified the concept with the global gaming consultants in the UK.
Warwick Bartlett agreed the idea is good will make money fast and will stand up against the current big players in the online gaming market.
I have visited many of the main gaming platform suppliers and data feed suppliers, advertising agents, tipsters, and have done extensive market research.
I face one major set back; this market is big time so you have to hit it big time which means massive investment for massive returns.
When dealing with this business you have to hit the ground running.
Example.
888.com turned over 250+ million in there first year the company made a loss, but in the first year due to huge marketing campaign took allot of money.
The second year the business went into profit and then the rest is history, another global online gaming giant. Fact.

SO........
I have the idea, Problem (MAJOR) I have no invest able capital.
That’s the bad news.
I have done allot of the ground work sourcing suppliers and checking the market.
I'm looking for business angels or venture capital to help raise the funds required.
The global gaming market would benefit from a new concept in betting offering the public new way to game/bet which has never been offered before.
I can make this happen with someone who sees my vision.
Just to give you an idea of the investment required.
5 million pounds over 5 years.
A potential profit achieved currently by the top bookies is 12-13 percent of the turnover.
Shared profit of 12-13% of a 52 billion pound industry (not including the lottery and bingo sectors). Is not to be sniffed at.
If this business only takes 2% market share it would still be a very profitable venture.
I see it and others see it taking a huge share of the business sector, only if it is marketed well.
If the business attracted huge amounts of online customers and reduced the big boy’s account holders it is most likely that they would opt to buy it rather than compete.
There is a reason they would not compete and that I will explain another time.
I don’t want to give the idea away now do I?
Summary
Investment is hard to come by with e business as I'm sure you are all aware, biggest reason being there are no assets.
It's all about the business concept the marketing and the business sector you intend to hit.

I will leave you with a thought.

I have never known a poor bookie..........have you?
Is any one on here able to give some info on investors in this business sector?

Please Help It’s driving me mad.

Regards

Carl

Hi Carl,
I'm based in Jersey Channel Isles where there are many serial investors and entrepreneurs. I think your next stage is to complete your business plan and
have everything ready to make presentations to high networth investors. Should you require any help please mail me at paullakeman@hotmail.co.uk.
I won't make any promises but if your concept stacks up I can give you a number of private individuals and investment companies that may be able to help with funding. Alderney another of the Channels Isles has a number of online gaming companies based there and the laws are soon to be changed in Jersey to allow this. Based offshore it would benefit from the low taxation rates
