Hi

Im currently doing an admin job I hate with a passion, wasting my day doing nothing with no sense of achievement at the end of the day.
Ive been given the opportunity to make dresses for a company in London from home which I would love to do so Im really looking for information about setting up doing freelance work and apparently it would be wise to set up paypal which I know nothing about!

Please help.

warning-I tend to waffle as well.

Hey, Not sure weather once you start if y9u can call yourself a business, you would probably have to be a proper registered company for that!

Yet again I have no clue, starting to look like a right idiot, i think the best approach would be too go either to your local business gateway or straight to companies house and go through all of the options with them, i really don't think It'll take that long to get your business up and running

You wont look like a right plonker, if this is something that you really want to do, then go ahead, all you have to do is TRY...

Start working, contact Inland Revenue within the first 3 months (sooner is better), then worry about payment methods.

Paypal is easily changeable from personal to premium or business.

If you are receiving orders then cash/cheque should be an option too.

Let us know what further info you need to help you take this further.
