Hi all

Thanks for the other forum address, some good stuf in there as well.

I am after some advice peeps please, been doing handmade candles for about 7 years now and think its reaching the end of the line for me, no orders, no customers and even the craft fairs that we attend people aren;t buying any more.

I've tried local newspapers, national newspapers, wedding mags, womens mags, you name it we've tried it.

Any ideas as to what I could try to source some new income which is BADLY needed or I'm going to have to close my business.

I have done a quick check on Google and you are listing for a couple of search terms, but you could do with being higher. I would recommend trying to get your site higher in the search engines for your relevant search terms. Natural listings in the top seach engines should drive more traffic your way and bring on more sales especially if you have an online shopping basket.

Have you tried TV companies, lots of DIY and house programs on, maybe they would be interested. Also, Des and Mel have featured products before if they are fun, try them and you may get a feature if you think of something funny for your candles.

Yar try improvising & innovated your candles. Making them not mere candles ( like what jayne has suggested)
target the current audience, kids 7 young adults, something fancy , nice, funny more than usefully,

-network distribution is a good way of advertising.
besides all those TV ads & etc. which cost an amount of money to be spend

yar after 7 yrs.
to revive it takes a lot of effort and time again.
but then again, i just browse through your website.
nice candles. and does looks mere simple candles with lovely deco and designs.

hmm.. maybe a different type of market?
well... that is marketing and you need to coupe the current market.

hopefully my suggestion would give a bulb of ideas or sense of something.
