HI there

Thank you both for your lovely comments.

I was making candles for friends and family and my husband decided that we needed a website to enable other people to see what we make and the services that we offer for wedding candles.

I would say that income is relatively good, enough for me to have made it last this long.

Hi and welcome

This is the best way to start a business - ie: one you are interested in

Just so long as it makes money (which it sounds as though it does..)

Hi there Flame.

Sounds like you have got a business that you enjoy and I wish you every success.

If you work hard then I'm sure it will continue to reward you. Just be careful not to burn the candle at both ends ;-) (sorry could not resist)

Mike.

P.S. There is a forum that is aimed towards Scottish based businesses that you may find useful as well. They have networking events etc. north of the border. http://www.businessbuzz.org/forum/index.php

P.P.S. If Peter, Ian, Tony and co do not want this in my message please feel free to edit my post.

I figured for someone in Scotland they may find some useful local contacts. The forum is not very big and relatively new, but due to location they do hold regular 'get togethers'.

Cheers,
Mike
