novice importers

Hi,

I'd like to introduce myself and also ask you guys a question. I work in development for a television production company called North One Television and we are currently looking for novice importers for a new series for a major UK broadcaster. In the series we are hoping to have people who want to pack in the day job and do something more exciting and who have a great idea for a new importing business and need help putting it in to action. The idea for the show is for our experts to help them with starting a new importing business.

I am currently trying to find ways to get in touch with novice importers who might be interested in our idea. I thought about going to a import fair / workshop / seminar, so would love to hear your thoughts on which ones are good - and perhaps some of you on this forum might be interested in the project. I'd love to hear from you.
