Recruitment site for SMEs - what do you think?
11-10-2007, 11:28 PM

Hi

We've just joined this forum as we have recently set up a recruitment site which we believe is a completely new concept for SMEs. We believe many of the users on this forum will find the site ideal for their business and we would love you to try it. All feedback is appreciated.

As both employers and candidates, Wayne and I were fed up of having no choice but to use expensive recruitment agencies. After a year of hard graft -working every evening (after our day jobs) and weekend - we developed the idea of recruiTT.com.

www.recruiTT.com allows you to post a job, set up an associated online interview and filter candidates by the answers they give. Enter your questions and answers and then when a candidate applies, recruiTT will only send you the CVs of candidates that pass your interview.

What's more posting jobs on recruiTT.com is FREE until the end of December as a special introductory offer.

We really think that this site will help all small and medium businesses to find staff efficiently and inexpensively. We would really love for you to post any job vacancies you have and let us know what you think.

Thanks

Jez (& Wayne)

What is the difference between your site and the other job sites?

Hi

Most recruitment websites simply allow you to post an advert and then you will be sent the CVs of all applicants. In this way, you get sent hundreds of applications for people that are really not suitable for the role but you still have to sift through them to find the right people..

With recruiTT, when you post a job, you can set an online interview (yes/no questions, multiple choice questions, etc.) such as ‘do you have a work visa?, how many people do you manage?, what size turnover do you operate?’ and then recruiTT will automatically compare the candidate’s answers to your desired answer. This way a candidate’s interview is scored and you only get sent the CVs of those that meet your minimum required score. If you want, you can even limit it to get the CVs of candidates with the best 10 scores for example. This way you will only get sent the CVs of suitable candidates and not have to spend time and money and sifting through the rest, the site will automatically filter them out for you so you only get qualified CVs.

As an introductory offer, all job posting are free until December but after that, an employer will be charged a low price per CV so they will only pay if appropriate candidates apply. Having recruited many people, we felt that their must be a better way for companies that to either have to pay thousands of pounds to an agency or to spend days reading inappropriate CVs. That is how we came up with the idea, to provide to filtering and advertising service of an agency but in an inexpensive way keeping the employer in control. In this way it is completely different to current recruitment sites which are, in essence, just adverts.

I hope this answers your questions but if you need any more information, please let me know or visit the site.

Thanks

Wayne

Welcome to the forum. The site sounds really cool. I know as the web becomes more a everyday marketplace the internet savvy will be needed. There are so many freelancers that a site just for them makes sense. Thanks for the idea.
