Virtual Admin Provider - 05-02-2006, 12:54 AM

Hello everyone - wishing the cold horrible weather would quickly disappear and take it's nasty flu germs with it.

I have a question to ask.

If you look at our website www.sheddwellers.com - you will see we provide IT Support and Virtual Admin to start-up and small businesses.

We've had a suggestion that the business would work better if it was split. Shed Dwellers name used only for the IT Services and creating a new name for the Virtual Admin I provide.

I'm also finding that Virtual Admin is still in it's early stages and that businesses and recruitment agencies don't always understand the concept!

Would appreciate any comments.

Thank you

Tracey

Its never a bad idea, nor does it hurt, to offer the services separately. Its up to you whether or not you'd like it to be public knowledge that they are owned by the same person or not. I'd say make the virtual admin a second site, especially if it's an up and coming thing.

There is supposed to be some advantage in search engine optimization terms in having a keyword in your domain name so from that point of view a seperate website might help in your ranking.

From a bricks & mortar point of view it doesn't really make much difference.

I haven't looked too hard but www.virtualadmin-uk.co.uk is still available
